First introduced in 1909 Harvester & Co. is a line of cigars which has been revived to attract a new market. The revival was due to a renewed fascination with outdoor activities as well as hunting.
The term "Harvester" refers to a British Thoroughbred racehorse that won five of the thirteen races in the latter part of the 1800s. The horse produced a number of winners in the sport of kings.
The cigar is manufactured by the Plasencia cigar factory in Nicaragua. It is a medium-bodied and medium strength cigar. It has an Connecticut seed wrapperand top-of-the-line binder and well-aged Nicaraguan fillers. It has a toasty cedar flavor, creamy almond notes as well as a smooth, spicy finish.
The cigar comes in bundles of 20, its 6" x 50 ring gauge
